Our Story

At KYIN Medical, our journey began with a vision to transform the healthcare landscape by making innovative orthopedic solutions more accessible and affordable. In 2019, our CEO, Jeremy Jarmon, met with retired orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Supinski to discuss the lack of medical device commercialization infrastructure in Kentucky. That pivotal conversation laid the foundation for KYIN Medical’s mission: to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and cost-effective healthcare solutions.

Dr. Supinski, a distinguished orthopedic surgeon and a pioneer in medical device development, brought decades of clinical, research, and product development expertise to the table. His passion for family, wellness, and sports, paired with his relentless pursuit of innovation, greatly influenced the principles on which KYIN Medical was built. Tragically, Dr. Supinski passed away in April 2021, but his mentorship and vision continue to guide our journey.

Today, KYIN Medical operates from Louisville, Kentucky, with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Warsaw, Indiana. We are proud to have received our first FDA approvals for a family of sports medicine suture anchors and are actively developing a pelvic plating system designed by a local physician.

Our mission is clear: to provide surgeons with innovative, high-quality medical devices that allow them to deliver exceptional patient care while addressing the financial challenges of modern healthcare. By leveraging stable, proven technologies with decades of clinical safety and efficacy, we significantly reduce costs—without sacrificing quality.

Unlike many in the industry, we believe that innovation should command a premium only during its intellectual property lifecycle. Once a technology is stable, savings should be passed to the healthcare community. This philosophy ensures that we don’t burden hospitals and surgical centers with inflated prices or restrictive contracts.
